On the battlefield, he earned glory through countless acts of bravery, yet endured the agony of loss: brothers in arms scattered, comrades and loved ones sacrificed. Alongside his fellow soldiers, he fought through blood and fire, thwarting enemy conspiracies and a biological warfare campaign, culminating in a decisive victory. In 1953, the war ended. Seven decades later, a white-haired Wei Zhenghua unfurls his battle flag, honoring the fallen and paying tribute to a hard-won peace.
