The Forgotten Concubine's Revenge

Fu Rong, an official's daughter, was forced into the palace by her own family. There she gave birth to a mute girl. Mother and daughter cling to each other in the depths of the palace, hoping nothing more than to survive.

But the young girl accidentally stumbled onto the Noble Consort's secret and was silenced forever. With her last weakness gone, the gentle mother turns into a blade. She buries her former self, and uses herself as bait. With the help of her former lover, a imperial physician, she sets one trap after another, striking at the heart step by step. Concubines, the consort, the prince, the emperor, no one escapes her chessboard. Not a favored concubine, not a virtuous empress, she wants only blood for blood.

As chaos engulfs the inner palace, a mother's revenge has only just begun.
